Patch “Hutsulka Ksenya”

Themed design inspired by the song “Hutsulka Ksenya.”
Carpet weaving has always evolved under the influence of new trends, fashion, or technological progress. In the 19th–20th centuries, it was common to invite artists to weaving factories to create carpet designs. To bring high-quality art closer to the public, weaving factories in the 19th–20th centuries eagerly invited renowned artists such as Sviatoslav Hordynsky and Fedir Krychevsky to contribute their designs.
Especially for Valentine's Day 2023, we invited our friend Khrystyna Dmytruk to create a themed design inspired by the song “Hutsulka Ksenya.” This tango song became one of the most famous Ukrainian songs of the 20th century worldwide. Its author, Yaroslav Barnych, also wrote the operetta “Hutsulka Ksenya.”
