Inspired by the Ukrainian Wedding Rushnyk

The designer drew inspiration from the motifs of the traditional Ukrainian wedding rushnyk while creating this piece.

The sunflower is the flower of the sun. In the language of flowers, it symbolizes warmth, light, vitality, happiness, and joy. According to legend, long ago, a sea nymph fell in love with the Sun God, but he did not return her affection. Heartbroken, she refused food and water, gazing endlessly at his golden chariot as it crossed the sky. The other gods took pity on her and transformed her into a beautiful sunflower. Even as a flower, she continued to turn her head toward the sun, seeking her beloved.

In the language of plants, the sunflower represents resilience, a love for life, optimism, faith in the future, a positive spirit, prosperity, success, and well-being.
