This postcard features a remarkable aerial photograph taken in 2021, showcasing a giant Ukrainian coat of arms sown in a field near the village of Velyka Oleksandrivka, Kyiv region. Created to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Ukraine’s restored independence, this impressive living emblem was positioned near Boryspil, the country’s largest airport, making it visible from airplane windows during takeoff and landing.
On July 8, 2021, the emblem was officially registered as a national record in the "Science and Technology" category. The entire area covered 60,000 square meters, with a total of 406,270 seeds planted. The emblem stood 245.3 meters tall and 138 meters wide, with a total area of 33,851.4 square meters.
