“Shchebetannia” Embroidered Detachable Collar

The “Shchebetannia” detachable embroidered collar offers a contemporary way to wear Ukrainian embroidery every day. Designed to complement dresses, shirts, sweaters, and blazers, it transforms even the simplest outfit into a refined statement inspired by cultural heritage.

Its embroidery is based on a motif from a ceremonial Ukrainian towel created in the Lviv region during the 1950s–1960s. The original piece belongs to Tetiana Holovan’s “Mova Rushnykova” collection. Carefully recreated using modern machine embroidery, the design preserves the beauty of traditional craftsmanship while making it relevant for contemporary fashion.

Part of the “Embroidered Heritage” collection, created in collaboration with the NGO World Vyshyvanka Day, this accessory celebrates Ukrainian embroidery as a living tradition rather than a relic of the past.
